It really came home yesterday... talk about an all around miserable day at the office. One of those days when you think to yourself, "Hrm... I'm utter crap at my job. Some one should get rid of me quickly!"
It didn't help that I'm on my own this week, so I had no one but the cats to moan about my day to.
I did my work out (which I need to step up to daily I think...) and then watched old episodes of Outer Limits off Netflix. I love that site.
So yeah... I'm really down about my working life right now.

some sort of normalcy...
JP's flight was delayed, but by the time I was getting into bed he had arrived at his hotel. He's very excited that White Castle is next door. I've warned him those greasy little burgers might not agree with him, but he's gotta try them.
Just hopefully not just before he heads back home. Could make an interesting flight.
Work continues to frustrate. Between the creepy new guy to certain departments who don't understand they aren't the center of my working world.
Actually there are two guys that are difficult to work with. One is our student worker. He's got a very high creep factor... and I'm not the only one to say that. The other is I believe contract out of Lease Records... and really he's just a douche. No other way to describe him.
I left yesterday and I got this really rude, "WELL GOOD NIGHT THEN!" from him when I walked by. One, he was talking to two other contract totlings so I wouldn't have even thought of interupting to say bye. Two, I never talk to the guy 'cause I never work with so what's his problem.
If he was the sort who came round to everyone's office in the morning to say, "Good Morning," and seriously what an annoying type of co-worker that is, I could understand. He never talks to anyone on my side of the floor so why get all bunged up that come random person didn't and doesn't say good night.
Work might not be such a pain if you didn't have to deal with some many people.

Another day...
I can't wait until my mini-vacation next week. It'll be a pain to travel up by myself but well worth it.
Talked to my sister and she's got temps of 70 today. I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully it'll stay cool until we get there.
I just need to get away for all of this. So sick and tired of work and the people at work. The newer hires are such a pain. The older co-workers know that I don't chit-chat and that I'm not going to just hang out in the hallway. URGH!
Why does work have to be such a pain on a stupid level.
I should go do my workout... burn off some of this stress.

My old journal has been blocked from my office. In an effort to keep my sanity I'm setting up shop here... until they block or worse.
Today I made my usual bread run, just a couple of days early. I've become spoiled to Stone Mill Bakery and I'm okay with that. They have hired a new manager and he seemed to want to run the place like a fast food shop. That doesn't bode well... and Milly wasn't there either. You don't go in to STB expecting fast service. You expect a small bread & sandwich shop where the ladies who work the counter know you by name and what your standard order is and that's asking enough I think.
I hope he doesn't ruin the place.
JP leaves shortly for St. Louise. Hopefully with no serious weather related issues. I don't think he'll make it back by Wednesday though. That might be asking too much.
At least I'm leaving in an hour...
